Product description : TES sodium salt basic information TES sodium salt, also known as N-tris(hydroxymethyl)methyl-2-aminoethanesulfonic acid, is a zwitterionic buffer commonly used in biological and chemical research. It is a solid white powder which when dissolved in water produces a colourless, clear solution.TES sodium salts cannot be used in Folin protein assays but has a wide range of applications in other biochemical experiments. Buffer interval TES-na has a pH range of 6.8 - 8.2 and a pKa value of 7.5, giving it a good buffering capacity in the pH range of 6.5 to 8.1, making it suitable for many applications in biochemical experiments. High stability: TES-na is highly thermally stable, allowing experiments to be carried out at high temperatures without affecting the buffering effect. Biologically compatible: The pH range of TES-na is compatible with many biological reagents and can therefore be used in many biological experiments. Application notes TES sodium salts are widely used in biochemical research. Its buffering capacity is ideal for the study of enzymes, proteins and other biological macromolecules. It is well known for its stability over a wide range of pH and temperature. In addition to its buffering capabilities, TES sodium salt can also be used for the preparation of liposomes and other nanoscale systems.
